MLP: Unknown Metroid Discovery Chapter 02

Here's another, only 4 more & then this story will be completed. The rest will come around on Tuesday, if I'm lucky to get enough done...

Chapter 02: New Start & New Surprises?

At this time, two weeks have gone by since the strange explosive site from the Everfree Forest and no pony was able to figure out the cause of it. However, reports from the Rainbow Kingdom’s Recon Guards were seeing many dead Dark Mystics, some of their bodies were taken to figure out the causes of such unknown deaths. But the story here begins to open near Ponyville’s quiet little school. During the time within it’s structure of learning, where the CMC, Nyx & many other fillies & colts were at for the start of the morning. The students were chatting with each other while waiting for Miss. Cheerilee to arrive to begin class.

“Did you all hear? How Ponyville was kinda active that night?” Sweetie Belle spoke out in making a conversation here.

“Yep, I heard about it! But didn’t see nothing’ but an explosive light works?” Apple Bloom nods her head while stating what was seen before.

“Some think it was some kind of huge fight that cause that strange explosion?” Scootaloo stated in what rumors & gossip state to explain what occurred that time.

“It was not much of a fight…At least, what I heard from mommy & maybe Golden Heart, stating the enemy were hunting something? But it ended up the other way around?” Nyx shook her head to state in what she was told about that event from what happened from a light explosion from the Everfree Forest.

“Maybe the guy dealt with them bad guys with his sister and that robot?” Scootaloo shrug off in thinking Goldie & his little band handled the Dark Mystic problem.

“Maybe it was?” Sweetie Belle stated to say that perhaps Golden Heart & his group took care of some Dark Mystic enemies.

“No, likely I heard, there were over thousands of thousands of Dark Mystics? Odds are they would of not survived well, not without being greatly injured and those three were barely hurt….?” Nyx shook her head off in stating what it was that she heard over what occurred. “I thinking it was something else that done it, whoever did it must be really tough?” She stated in whoever did the deed against many Dark Mystics must be a tough customer.

Just then, school’s bell rang that made the students become silent. Then at the right calling, Miss. Cheerilee comes in to smile & see her students all around.

“Hello class! I have some exciting news.” Miss. Cheerilee spoke out in getting everyone’s attention on her with some news. “We have a new student that will be joining us. So I want you all to welcome her with open hooves and make sure our newest student feels happily welcomed.” She announced forth that starting today, a new student shall be joining them and that they should make them feel welcome.

After Miss. Cheerlee gave that little announcement, many of the students began to whisper a bit. Even members of the CMC huddle and Nyx joins in to silently discuss about what was just announced here.

“Girls, ye heard all dat?” Apple Bloom spoke to her pals in having heard the news just now.

“Yes, we’ll be having a new student today!” Sweetie Belle smiled off to nod her head in also having heard this.

“Wonder who this student will be? Colt or filly?” Scootaloo pondered to think which new student they might get.

“Not sure, but we’ll find out. And make sure she can trust true friends, if you understand what I mean?” Nyx whispered off to give this secret message to her friends to follow what she’s saying.

The three other fillies heard what Nyx said, as they quickly look at Diamond Tiara & Sliver Spoon’s area. The four fillies recall that Diamond Tiara once tried to be nice to a new student, if the newbie isn’t someone to be picked on instead. But the rich filly has changed her ways, now it's the other bully of the school, Riff Tannen. Plus, the bully colt has Matchstick, Baldy, & Goggles with him that when Riff Tannen wants to get something done by picking on others, he'll do it. Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle & Scootaloo looked back at Nyx before nodding in understanding the part about trusting ‘true’ friends part; Diamond Tiara aside of her former bully career, Riff Tannen was a different story.

“Now please welcome our new student: Ridley Melissa.” Miss. Cheerilee spoke out in announcing this next part inhaling the new student come forth.

Soon the sound of hoof steps are heard, as someone is syncing through the door to enter the classroom; and it was…a filly? And for many of us that know the filly, Ridley Melissa, her appearance was something…unique. The new filly looks at every pony sitting in their tables, simply staring at them as a few say ‘hello’ to her. Ridley Melissa looks at the CMC and Nyx. The new filly look in processing those here while recalling things that were spoken to her before coming here.

“Remember, Ridley Melissa! Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, & Nyx are nice and so are others. Even Diamond Tiara & Silver Spoon are good fillies. But watch out for Riff Tannen & his boys, they arn't good.” The voice of Pinkamena was heard in Ridley Melissa’s head of the thoughts

At the same moment, Ridley looks around notices four strange ponies with one looking like he had a smug look about him & had three other ponies that look like stooges. They must be the bullies she was warn about. Having seen those around, it was time that she try to speak up now.

“Hello every pony….” Ridley smiled off in greeting those around her. “Miss. Cheerilee, mind if I sit next to those ponies over there? The Unicorn, the Pegasus, the Earth Pony & Alicorn…” She pointed near Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Apple Bloom & Nyx’s spot where there was just a free open seat.

“My, you sure know your type of ponies ? Allow me to introduce them, there names are…?” As Miss. Cheerilee was about to introduce what students she had in where Ridley was gonna sit however…

“Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Apple Bloom and Nyx…right?” Ridley cuts in to speak before the teacher in already stating the names of her fellow students.

This makes Miss. Cheerilee surprised along with the whole class. Especially the four mentioned fillies & even Diamond Tiara is baffled by how Ridley knows the names of the CMC if she was new to them all; like she meant the girls before hand?

“Um, why yes? But how do you know their names?” Miss. Cheerilee responded in getting herself together in not knowing how a new student knows those in her class.

“Well they are known as the Cutie Mark Crusaders, & the Alicorn is a member too, who is also know to be the Daughter of Twilight Sparkle, the Princesses of Friendship. Also to make it short, I read about them & heard about them from those that know them.” Ridley explained off her own reasoning of knowing those of the CMC & Nyx from being given heads up notice.

Many are quiet in having heard such an explanation. There was a light chirping heard outside before it stop afterwards when the teacher coughs to get some attention from her class.

“Well you are certainly well-informed, so you should do just fine at our school.” Miss. Cheerilee responded off to say this in a smiling form in having seen & heard it all now.

“Thank you, Miss. Cheerilee.” Ridley smiles off before she bows her head lightly to thank the teacher, then she heads to the four CMC members to seat beside them. But of course when settling herself near some new friends, just then Riff Tannen leans towards Silver Spoon over noticing other things about Ridley Melissa that seem…odd.

"Tell me Silver Spoon, you think Ridley’s mother dyed her coat to look like metal? Because if she did, she has weird taste?” Riff Tannen issued off to say this in making a joke, much to Silver Spoon's displeasing moment along with Diamond Tiara.

Ridley stops for a bit in about to know some friends & slowly turns looking at Riff Tannen & his boys snickering quietly under their breath. Without knowing it, her eyes glow faintly in her expression starting to be more…serious.

“I watch what you say, unless you want to start at fight?” Ridley issued off towards Riff Tannen's group in which her eyes faintly glow from a strange light-work; & it got the spoiled bully colt & stooges to stop chcukling to notice what was going on; the new filly debating to them in overhearing them & something weird about her eyes glowing off weirdly.

Some of the nearby students were lightly shocked to gasp in having heard a new student wanting to pick a fight. The CMC & Nyx saw Miss. Cheerilee writing on the blackboard without having heard the quiet whispers going on in her class of someone about to start a fight. Diamond Tiara was also surprise, even Silver Spoon was, but Riff Tannen gazes to see & knew he can’t do anything right now during class period time.

“You…hugh, challenging me….that’s the worse comeback ever?” Riff Tannen lightly chuckled off under his breath quietly in having heard the new student make such a odd response. “But, since your new, I’ll let it slide. Your mother must love you just the way you are, no matter what your fur almost looks like.” He spoke off to make a sly smile comeback in saying he’ll back off the new filly since it’s her first day, as Ridley will need to know a few things that goes on around here.

However, Ridley seem to inch closer from her seat to stare at Riff Tannen making a smug expression. Her faintly growl is almost heard, but her eyes are soon shut, as she begins to calm herself down with the glowing eyes ceasing before looking away from the rich bully & his boys.

“Okay students, lets begin our class now.” Cheerilee responded off in now being ready to start teaching…all while unaware of what happened earlier.

Soon afterwards, some time passed by in school & things are going as they do in a normal matter of speaking. During which case, Ridley is getting along with the CMC & Nyx when it came around to lunch time. The CMC explained to Ridley some things that happened during the lunch period before lunch was soon reaching it’s closure at the time being. Somethings discussed were about ‘other’ events that just screamed worldwide news to earn some attention of being; such like…a new join continent off the west side of Equestria borders.

“That is all a very interesting tale of what happened during the Pyro-Maniac event? So this Grimmore being made a continent that never existed until recently?” Ridley responded from both a fire starting event to even in having heard the tale about a place called: Hemisphere, a place label to be off-limits to all pony civilians & citizens, etc.

“Yeah, after when Princess Celestia & Princess Luna along with Harmony combined their powers to help an alicorn made from fire start a new life.” Nyx explained the case of when her mother was believed to have started fires from letting her temper loose, but it was someone else & that fiery alicorn was saved before her light died out.

“I read about that....but, who is Harmony?” Ridley raised an eyebrow in pondering just who in Equestria was such a pony with a name like Harmony.

“Well for starters, she’s a very kind unicorn. She was born from the Tree of Harmony.” Sweetie Belle smiled in explaining who or ‘What’ Harmony was, she was born from a tree.

“Yep, dat there is about de sum of it.” Apple Bloom nodded her head off in agreement on that subject.

“Yeah, she is amazing…about as cool as Rainbow Dash, possibly.” Scootaloo smiled off in stating this factor of her own thought.

“It’s kinda hard to explain? She was born when the barrier: the Mystic Shield, was Destroyed. And the gathering of many Element Wielders stood against our foes from trying to harm us. By then, it created Harmony, & she became the wielder to the Element of Balance…..Plus her singing voice is as amazing as Celestia and Sweetie Belles’ voices when they sing, but full of pure harmony & such stuff?” Nyx explained off in what happened when Shadow Dragon was under a name Chase The Warrior, destroyed their protection against powerful enemy attacks, but when they were on tin ice, a large gathering of their allies with elements let off an aura that somehow help gave birth to Harmony, etc.

"Wow…wonder if I will see this ‘Harmony’ pony?” Ridley asked off amazed in having heard such marvelous things.

“Well maybe I can let my mom know, & she will let Pinkamena know and maybe you can…?” Nyx was stating about getting permission from her parent & one other pony, but…

Course during Nyx’s moment of speaking, Ridley nearly yelped upon hearing the named ‘Pinkamena’ which caught the filly by surprise & much to the attention of the CMC.

“You’re saying mom….ugh, um, I mean Pinkamena knows Harmony as well?” Ridley responded off to say while stopping herself short in stating the subject away in stating Pinkamena has become her step-mother, etc.

“Yes she does, & did you just about called Pinkamena your mom?” Nyx responded off to say while being curious of something this filly wasn’t telling them.

That question it’s self followed by awaiting stares makes Ridley lightly sweat. The filly has to think fast in how to explain such a little claim of a slip of a tongue.

“Well….my mother had a flat mane & tail, just like Pinkamena does, so…?” Ridley was explaining nervously in which the CMC saw how uncomfortable this was making her in trying to explain what she did.

"Hey, it's alright Ridley, you don't need to tell us if you do not want to?” Nyx easily calms their friend that whatever the reason is, if Ridley doesn’t wanna tell them, that’s fine.

“Really?” Ridley asked off in being surprised, as Nyx nods along with the other three fillies in saying they don’t mind not knowing such things.

“Yeah, Rainbow Dash may not really be my sister, but she does treat me like one. Nyx was a different story, but it turned out wonderful for her. Nyx has a new life with a real mother and father to keep her safe.” Scootaloo spoke off in mentioning about her own situation in family matters to how even Nyx had gain her own family from Twilight Sparkle & Ben Mare.

However, having heard words lightly trigger Ridley’s memories deep within her conscious mind. Ridley has a flashback of what happened to her in the past. As it shows her out of her container, lightly frighten by the Researchers, as they were getting close to her & the filly’s eyes are glowing which a light pulse wave happened in pushing them back lightly. The child was holding her head, as one worker was frighten and grabs a gun in reading to fire, but then some pony knock his gun down while speaking which the filly knows the voice.

“Can't you all see your scaring her, and if you shot at her, just think what will happen?” The mysterious mare scolds the others to think about their actions & how it’s making the child react to such things.

this makes them think and they back up and the mare lightly pushes by some of them nearing the filly and she slightly looks up seeing the mare with the flat mane and tail

“M…Mommy?” Ridley was trying to say this to the mare she felt was like her ‘real’ mother.

“Yes Ridley Melissa, it's mommy.” The mysterious mare responded to the child in stating who she was to Ridley.

The mysterious mare researcher moves closer & places a hoof on the filly's right cheek. This was making the filly shocked, feeling the soft tendering hoof & the filly's eyes stop glowing while the pulse wave fades. The Researchers calm lightly, as the filly lightly tears while the mysterious mare sits down with the filly moving closer and hugs the mare lightly, crying faintly while the mare hugs the child back.

“Shh-shh, there-there, mommy's here.” The mysterious mare gently speaks in calming the child now.

Many seem touched by this little scene, it seem to fill in their hearts of being emotional. However, one Researcher was about to move in during the distraction, but was stop by another Researcher in shaking his head against doing anything unnecessary.

“But sir, what about the tests?” Researcher 1 spoke off in requesting about their need to perform test.

“That pulse wave was not normal, I fear if we try to force her, we might be risking more then our lives?…I think the best way for a filly to learn, is to be with someone she trusts?” Researcher 2 exclaimed forth in stating that what they saw was evident of their carelessness, & that only someone among them, will the filly feel trustful enough to be calm near.

“That girl, what can she do?” Researcher 3 questioned off in not knowing the results of what the subject filly can do at this point from what they witness in being cared for by the mare that helped the child.

“She is the only one that was able to subdued her fears and that power....and the filly seemed to have bonded to her, as her mother must been. Because we did take some blood from the mare to be able to create Ridley Melissa, so I think the best we can do is let the two be together, maybe with luck, she will know good from evil this way? Researcher 2 explained forth in stating the mysterious mare was used in helping give birth to the filly child, & only a through a mother can a child understand things it’s too young to understand yet.

Many of the Researchers nod their heads, but were worried about the idea of who to be left in charge of the child. As the mare nuzzled the child, & the filly lays down beside the mare. as she smiles

“Sleep easy, my daughter.” The mysterious mare responded off with a smile across her face.

Slowly the Flashback fades away, returning Ridley in where her current place & time is now. During the filly’s space out moment, Scootaloo was waving a hoof to Ridley’s face to see if anyone was home.

“Hello, anypony in there?” Scootaloo asked off in trying to bring someone who’s daydreaming back to reality.

At that moment, Ridley Melissa snaps out of her thoughts & looks around, lightly bumping into Scootaloo's hoof in almost knocking her down during the process.

“Ugh, what happen?” Ridley asked off puzzled in what just happened to her now,

“Well after Scootaloo was done with what she said, you zoned out....did something she said trigger a flashback?”Nyx shrug off to simply say while asking a question of what she could guess happened here.

Ridley gives a faint nod in stating she did space out, so whatever went on, she was out of the loop. But Nyx smiles to show that she and her friends didn’t mind. Then at that moment, the bell rings in stating something to all students, but Ridley looks lightly spooked by the noise as she was unsure what it meant. But then recalls another bit of words of advice from Pinkamena she hears in her head,

“There are many kinds of alarms, but the school bell works for when it's either lunch time, play time, & when school is over & such things.” Pinkamena’s voce explained off her words through Ridley’s mind to recall & process carefully.

Having process this, Ridley appeared calm and knows it is playtime since they were done with lunch along with whatever else they were doing in their class.

“Okay class, it's play time.” Miss. Cheerilee announced this in what time it was for the class now.

The kids cheered in having heard the news of play time. With that, they all head out to enjoy some recess at the moment. The CMC and Nyx head off to join the rest, but notice Ridley was still sitting by her desk in doing something on paper.

"Ye coming’?” Apple Bloom asked off if their friend was joining them.

“In a bit?” Ridley responded that she’ll join the rest in a little while.

“Give her some time, okay girls.” Nyx patted Apple Bloom in seeing that Ridley needs time at this moment before wanting to go out & have some fun.

Apple Bloom nods her head in understanding what Nyx was saying, and they all headed out while leaving Ridley behind. Ridley slowly gets off the chair and walks in following where her classmates went, as she looks at Miss. Cheerilee who was cleaning up the chalkboard.

"Miss Cheerilee I want you to have this? Ridley spoke off in approaching her teacher, & gives her a folded picture of something for her eyes only. “I drew it for you, as thanks for letting me be part of your class and being so kind.” The girl stated her kind reason of why she was doing such a thing.

"Aww, thank you, Ridley Melissa. But you did not need to do this, you being here and welcomed is good enough for me?” Miss. Cheerilee heartfelt expressed herself in loving the gift while letting the child know something in return.

“Okay then, well…later then.” Ridley responded off with a smile in understanding while saying farewell now.

Ridley then heads outside in about to join everyone else in about to have their playtime. Miss. Cheerilee waves in seeing Ridley go, then she carefully opens the picture again which she slightly blushes at it. It was a picture of her with Big Mac sitting under a tree, kissing, & sees letters saying: ‘Big Mac and Cheerilee forever’ on it. She slightly puts it away in her bag, blushing faintly while giggling at the thought.

“Ridley has good picture skills, but how did....oh right, she traveled here so…..yes, I think that's the case?” Miss. Cheerilee responded off in liking the picture, but was curious about something until she recalled the answer.

Meanwhile outside, the kids are playing anything they find to use, swings, sandbox, ridder-totters, etc. Ridley looks around, she finds a spot before trotting over to sit down. Then she carefully gets out her Ridley Plushy figure & another figure that looked like an being in a armored suit before she was beginning play with them in her own imaginative way.

“Even if they are enemies, I know that one day, Ridley and Samus will fight together. But who knows? But that would be amazing, right mommy? Ridley smiled off to say such things in how two enemies will join forces, & looked for a response.

But as Ridley looks behind her, she notices that someone was not there, which makes the child she sigh in sorrow in having forgotten that her mother wasn’t here. Then another flashback comes across the screen, showing Ridley of the past, she was on the mysterious mare’s back as she walks to a store & enters it. Time goes by & the mare comes out with the child while more time goes by & they were in a park. Ss the mare pulls out two toys the filly picked from the store, it was a Ridley Plushy figure and Samus which the child took to play with.

“I wondered why you wanted both, Ridley?” The mysterious mare asked off a question of two toy figures the child was playing in wanting both of them.

“Because I thought Ridley would like a friend, & also, his name is like my name, & also Samus is a bounty hunter?” Ridley responded off in giving her own answer to the mare about the question it’s self.

“But you know they are enemies when you read the story and played the games?” The mysterious mare pointed out this fact of how both characters are enemies from where they come from & exist in.

“Well even so, I think one day they will fight together for a common goal, and maybe become friends? What do you think of that, won’t that be amazing, mommy?” Ridley responded off to say in sounding a bit excited over the thought of such a thing to happen.

The mysterious mare thinks for a moment, but after seeing the filly’s eyes, she gives a sweet caring smile.

“That is a kind thought Ridley Melissa, maybe they will one day?” The mysterious mare responded off in thinking that such a thought of two enemies becoming friends was a nice idea.

The mare gives her daughter a hug, as the filly smile and hugs back from what her mother said to her.

“Thank you, mommy!” Ridley responded off in thanking her mother in liking her idea.

Now the flashback ends here while returning to the scene of where Ridley Melissa currently is at now. Which speaking of Ridley, she hears voices while looking around & noticing many of the kids gathered nearby. Then the filly sees the Riff Tannin & his boys, as Ridley is puzzled in what is going on. Course during the moment, a voice in her head is heard from the same pony that was speaking in giving the filly some words of advice & guidance clues.

“Matchstick is a unicorn with magic, Baldy is a tough Earth stallion, & Goggles is a smart pegasus. Be careful! For Riff Tannen will not delay in sending his goons to deal with someone that gets on his nerves, so just remain on guard.” Pinkamena’s voice was speaking with some words of advice in what Ridley Melissa should under such a situation.

After recalling that memory, Ridley faintly nods to her self in knowing what sorta issues to be on the lookout against such a bouncer. But then she hears a voice across the distance at the time.

“Give that back?” The voce was sounding like some colt at the moment it was heard.

Ridley Melissa is puzzled, as she was looking to see a brown colt with a propeller hat which he was trying to get back. Turns out it was a game were Riff Tannen was laughing in which Matchstick took a game from the colt known as Button Mash & the little guy couldn’t reach while everyone was watching this unfair height measure play out? Ridley felt sorry for the poor colt, but decided to continue to play her little game while staying out of something that has all the other colts & fillies attention here.

“You know, If I were you, Button Mash? I not mess with me or do I need to let my boys put you in your place?” Riff Tannen remarked off in stating these things for the colt to get who’s in-charge here.

“Your lucky my big friend; the Wuzubu is not here & is keeping the animals safe. Or he would bash your big ugly doofuses into dust?” Button Mash responded off in making a protest issue of what would happen if his big friend was here.

Many of the kids gasped in having heard what was said, as they were backing up. Matchstick, Baldy & Goggles give a lightly snarl noise in having been insulted, & Riff Tannen looks upset by the colt being cocky here.

"Bad move, boys, teach this colt a lesson?” Riff Tannen scold off testate this while turning to her bodyguard.

“Right, boss!” Riff’s boys responded off in nodding their heads, cracking their necks or hooves in places before moving up to the troublemaking colt.

Button Mash gulps in realizing that he’s now in trouble here, and runs for it. Just as the colt ran, Matchstick, Baldy & Goggles began their chase after the one who insulted them. Course Nyx glares at the snotty bully who allow the thugs to even go after someone with a 3 against 1 odds.

“That is wrong Riff Tannen, that is low even for you?” Nyx scolds the snotty filly for what she was doing here was just mean.

“The colt insulted me, my boys would’ve done it anyway even if I didn’t give the order? It's his own fault, not mine.” Riff Tannen remarked off in protesting that Button Mash has to live with what he’s done which can’t be undone.

“But you took his game from him that started this mess?” Sweetie Belle pointed out another fact of which the others nodded in agreement that this mess was thanks to what Riff Tannen did.

“You have to admit, they have a point?” Silver Spoon lightly stated in seeing there was fair reason of logic against this jerk.

“Whatever?” Riff Tannen rolled his eyes in not caring about such pointless things at this point & time.

Now they all watch, as Button Mash kept avoiding Baldy’ strikes. The colt then stops which Baldy stops to late to trip over an unoccupied skateboard & ends up rolling & is skidding on the ground before plowing & carrying Mathcstick & Goggles too. The goon trio was heading for Ridley who was back to playing with her Figures, as Button Mash sees what’s going on gallops quickly over towards the filly endanger of about to become a road pavement.

“LOOK OUT!” Button Mash calls out in alerting of what was heading straight towards him…and the filly.

Ridley looks and notices the three goons coming at her and she yelps while things slow down in motion. She puts her figures away & leaps over the rolling stooges on a roll. But sees she went to high without planning ahead & falls towards the ground. Button Mash notices this, backs up before he jumps in, as she collides with him & they tumble lightly, as things went to normal speed. This was just as everyone saw this, as Button Mash was lightly dizzy from what he’s done.

“That was not the best of my ideas, but is she okay?” Button Mash responded off from being lightly dizzy before he snaps out a bit in being concern about who else got involved in this while thing.

Course during the moment, Button Mash noticed where Ridley was, as she was on top of him. During the scene, he sweats faintly, as the filly shakes her head in getting herself together now.

"Ugh, what hit me? And…did I land on something soft?” Ridley asked off in not sure what happened or what she landed on before she looks down at looking at Button Mash which he was lightly blushing from their situation. “You okay there, Button Mash?” She asked off if the colt was alright after what happened.

“Um, yes, but maybe you could get off me, please?” Button Mash responded off in being fine, but like it better if the filly was off him.

Ridley notices where she was on Button Mash, and slowly rolls off him while he gets up. Course after the filly gets up, she brushes herself off from what even just happened just now.

“Um, what's your name?” Button Mash a question towards Ridley, as she looks at him from having been asked a question.

“My name, is Ridley Melissa.” Ridley responded off in letting the colt know who she was here.

“Wait, your named from the Metroid series games?” Button Mash asked off in having recall that first part of the name from somewhere.

“You want to make fun of me for being named that?” Ridley signs in feeling like her name will be a joke to those that hear it.

“No, I like the Metroid Games, & the name is nice, and you look really nice, and…cute too?” Button Mash lightly blushes in stating that last part off after admitting he likes such a game series.

Things got very quiet & a pin is heard hitting the ground, as Ridley stares with her cheeks turn red. Button Mash realizes what he said that causes him to blush very red & covers his mouth with one hoof, as things were silent for a bit of what was happening here. Only for the sound of Riff’s boys’ hooves to be heard which made Button Mash look scared in seeing the three goons coming at him from not forgetting what the colt did. Just as Button Mash braces for the worse, only for Ridley to get in front of Button Mash & cause Riff’s boys to stop while glaring at this unexpected annoyance.

“Step aside little runt or we’ll crush you.” Goggles issued a threat for the filly to step aside or she will take a beating.

“I heard much about you, all three, & you may had some moments, but for the rest…you were beaten and put in your place. And you take out your issues on someone smaller because they can't fight back, you either back down & Riff gives back Button Mashes Game or you will be sorry.” Ridley responded back with her own little threat in wanting the brute trio to cease & just give back what doesn’t belong to the bully bunch.

“What’re you going to do, little filly? Whack us with your bag?” Matchstick taunted off in seeing that from such a small pony, she thinks she can stop him & the rest.

“No, I will slap you in the face and then put you down.” Ridley challenged off in stating what she would do here.

“Ha! I like to see you try, little runt?” Badly laughed off in accepting a challenge, as this would be amusing to see what happens.

Riff laughs a bit more his boys laugh it up while the others watch in how one filly is gonna make claim to such bold words that can’t be taken back. During the moment, Ridley’s eyes faintly glow while in her bag, the armored suit figure’s visors glows and she is on the filly’s back hooves to hold her right hoof with her left hoof. Then the toy leaps and then is at the bouncer’s face which the armored toy she swings her right hoof & Baldy was slapped hard, as if being hit by something metal. The brute grunts and falls onto his side, as the toy lands on the ground while shocking many, even Riff Tannen along with Matchstick & Goggles being shocked by this while Button Mash was surprised like all the rest. As the armored toy gets herself ready, some ‘Metroid battle music’ is heard.

“Okay…Now your dead meat!” Matchstick exclaims in letting off some growls in sounding mad here at what happened.

Matchstick charges at the child, but she evades to the right in dodging the attack while strange firing sound is heard. Matchstick is being shot & he grunts and tumbles lightly, as the fight keeps going in which he looks to be losing…to an armored toy’s little plasma gun?

“You seeing what I’m seeing?” Sweetie Belle turned to her friends in not being the only one seeing this.

“Yep! I sure am!” Apple Bloom replied off in stating she was seeing this too.

“She's fighting without even making contact even with that slap, its like she has changed?” Scootaloo briefly mentioned doff what she saw.

“I’m not sure....I am feeling some kind of energy flowing and it took a form in that toy?” Nyx responded off puzzled in thinking something weird was going on.

“You sure?” Diamond Tiara asked off in not knowing if that was true or not.

“I’m sure?” Nyx nodded lightly in what her magic senses were telling her.

“Wow, her performance? It’s like she's fighting like Samus Aran would do?” Button Mash responded in awe at what he was seeing here.

Some time has gone by, as the music ends at this moment. now it was Goggles that was panting, as he tilts lightly before he falls down with a thud impact. The final goon was worn out and drained of his strength from using so much. Ridley moves to the three goons with her armored toy figure coming on her right hoof which it aimed at Riff’s boys in awaiting for a command to attack.

“Do you yield?” Ridley asked if Riff’s boys are gonna yield to her or not.

Riff’s boys let off a grunt growl at hearing such a thing, and they try swiping at the filly. But she moves back & the sound of charging is heard, as she gives a firm look while her toy seem to have it’s right arm side aiming at the three goons.

“Do you yield?” Ridley asked again if these guys were gonna give up or not.

Matchstick, Baldy & Goggles were left to think for themselves & looked at Riff Tannen that looked upset that his boys were getting beaten by a filly of how things were looking bad. After they see Riff & Diamond & Silver Spoon’s shaking their heads to call it quits, Riff’s stooges sign to look at Ridley.

“We…yield.” Riff’s boys spoke lowly with lost spirited tones to gaze at Ridley in yielding to her.

With the foes admitting defeat, Ridley begins to calm down while having her right hoof aim the toy’s charge weapon in another way. A shot is heard, as it hits a rock and it crumbles into dust, making many lightly surprised as if wondering if the toy was even dangerous or not. But that aside, Ridley then walks to Riff Tannen with her right hoof held out at the jerky colt in which he saw the same armored toy aim at him and Ridley has her left hoof out in wanting something place there.

“Now, please return the game?” Ridley asked forth in wanting what was Button Mash return to him.

Riff Tannen signs in defeat before he held out the game which Ridley takes to hold carefully. Strangely, it sounded like some kind of metal hand grasping the game, but there was nothing seen; nobody knew what the hay was going on. But Ridley only cared about something else, she walks off towards to Button Mash and holds out to him; the colt’s game.

“Here you go, Button Mash.” Ridley responded in returning what belong to the colt back now.

“Th-thanks?” Button Mash carefully takes his game back while he lightly blushes to the filly’s amazing work in getting it back for him.

Ridley smiles in hearing that, & Button Mash feels a hand petting him which he shivers; the armored toy looked like it was petting his hoof to the game, but felt like there was one more presence unseen that touch the colt’s body. The moment stopped when Ridley’s eyes return to normal, & once in her bag, the armored suit figure’s visor is no longer glowing, as she returns on all fours, etc.

“Your welcome.....and I recall what you said about me…being cute?” Ridley spoke out to reply back with a little extra something to the sentence.

“Um w-well, yeah, b-but well…?” Button Mash he is lightly surprised Blushing red and turns his head Embarrassed

“Heheh….aww, your blushing? That's so cute…” Ridley giggles a bit in stating how cute the colt was now.

Button Mash’s ears fold lightly, as he backs up a bit from what he heard which earn some attention from Ridley.

“I’m sorry…I made you feel upset, please don't hate me? Ridley spoke up in feeling like she did something wrong in what she said that the colt was acting this way.

“Wait? What!.…Whoa, I’m not upset or hate you. You did nothing wrong?” Button Mash yelped off inning totally thrown off balance in what the filly was even saying.

“Really?” Ridley asked in sounding hopeful a bit.

“Yes, really. I would of been flatten if you didn’t go all Bounty Hunter on that brutal bouncer?” Button Mash pointed off in what action was done, Ridley was somehow able to make it look like an actual Samus action took down Riff's boys.

“Well I can do more then that, gamer colt?” Ridley spoke off in stating this towards Button Mash about having more then just those things to perform.

“Um, what you mean by more?” Button Mash raised an eyebrow in being puzzled by such a statement.

“Well come over to my place and we could play a game. And I can show you what I can do.” Ridley offered the colt to come visit her so that they can play a game while she shows her stuff of what else she can do.

“Um, well, I will ask my mother, and I might come over, okay?” Button Mash blushes slightly in replying to such a sudden invite.

“Cool well see you later, but for now, lets all get back to playing.” Ridley smiles off in stating this in preparing to see the colt leave while they all continue to play during their play time moment. All the other class members also continue to do so while Riff’s boys pick themselves up in feeling achy while Riff Tannen signs at knowing this memory will never leave them.

Now a while goes by, every pony is having fun, justas it was time for school to come to an end. The students head off to their homes now, as the CMC and Nyx head off in about to join their families. But they hide at the moment from seeing Button Mash packing his things with Ridley walking by the colt. Ridley shivers in being very worried for some reason, Button Mash sees her & waves to get her attention.

“I’m thinking you want to get back at me for making you blush when I said that?” Button Mash responded a bit to rub the back of his head on the subject.

Then in a flash, something unexpected happen that cut the colt off; Ridley came near Button Mash and…kissed him on the cheek. The result shocked the colt very much from this act which made him blush. Even the CMC & Nyx are shocked, but still hide in watching how things play out. Ridley then brakes the kiss off from the colt, shocked herself while blushing over what happened, as a small pulse happens that was unseen, but would earn attention if she stuck around.

“I’m sorry?” Ridley apologizes quickly, as she gallops off quickly away, as Button Mash saw her upset expression before she was out the door.

“Wow, she must’ve never felt love to someone her own age?…I need to now visit her to explain things, I just hope she's not hurting?” Button Mash responded off in rubbing the spot of where the filly kissed him, being surprised while pondering what was going through Ridley’s thought.

Button Mash then heads off after packing his things to leave, & the four fillies that saw what happened were still getting over the shock of it all.

“Ye all saw dat, right?” Apple Bloom asked her group of friends in what they saw here.

“Yes.....but I have a feeling fate has me lost in what happens next here?” Sweetie Belle responded to shrug off in having no clue where this action will take.

Most are lightly puzzled by that claim, as they don’t know what will happen when Ridley showed some affection of liking Button Mash.

“Think we should inform anyone about this?” Scootaloo asked if they outta speak about this to anyone else.

“No, we should see what is going on. Then maybe tell Twilight and ones we trust, okay.” Nyx shook her head off while explaining what they should do before speaking about this act to anyone else.

They nod in agreement to this, as they get ready to head on home while promising not to tell anyone about what happened here.

Meanwhile during the time the scene shifts from the school, Ridley was galloping off. She sniffs faintly, as her cheeks were red & light pulses happened during which it pushed things around. This was making some folks startled in what was happening, as the filly dashes through the confusion & makes it to Sugarcube Corner. There Ridley goes through the door & through the basement, but that didn’t stop another pulse that went off. Which during the time the pulse happened, gets the cakes to be pushed off near Pinkie Pie & gets splattered by a cake in the face, as Pound & Pumpkin Cake giggle nearby at this sight while the pink pony stares in confusion & licks herself of her frosty covered face.

“Mr. and Mrs. Cake, I think the wind cake had to much wind-power in the mix?” Pinkie Pie spoke out to let the two ponies currently baking treats know about what happened to the cake here; while unknown of what really happened.

The scene quickly changes to the basement part beneath Sugarcube Corner. Ridley had come in, but was lightly crying during the scene.

“MOMMY!” Ridley cried out in calling for Pinkamena at this time.

Within the secret dungeon, hoof steps are heard of someone approaching. Golden Heart came along with Omega from hearing someone’s cries, then Pinkamena leaps over the bot & lands while skidding when she is next to Ridley before gently holds her after she ran to the mare.

“Easy Ridley, what happen?” Pinkamena calms the child down while asking what happened.

“Scans showing high fluxes of physic energy?” Omega pointed out in what his scans show Ridley was exhibiting a flow of her abilities from her emotional stress.

“Mommy, something happened when I was at school that you would not believe?” Ridley issued off in stating that something happened that was gonna be hard to believe.

“Tell me everything, mommy Pinkamena is here.” Pinkamena gently stated in saying that she was here to help ease the child’s problems if they are bothering her.

Some time had gone by while Ridley was about done telling Pinkamena & friends in what she's been through, as she shakes lightly after concluding that part of her first school day.

“Wow?” Pinkamena responded in having heard the tale from beginning to end.

“I must say, you had quite a day?” Goldie responded in being surprised by all the things Ridley went through on the first day.

“Also putting Riff Tannen & his three grunts in their place to help Button Mash, shows you were very noble.” Omega exclaimed to mention how such a thing of protecting another from a brutal brute showed much character.

“Do any of them know about your powers?” Pinkamena asked off in narrowing her eyes on another topic here.

“Um, not that I know of? But Button Mash seem to know about Samus’ abilities during the act my toyed while…not seeing who was invisible that fought?” Ridley explained that during her tussle, everyone thought her armored toy fought Riff’s boys, but something invisible that was ‘metal’ did the fighting while no one was the wiser.

“It seems Button Mash’s knowledge of certain games must’ve given him a good idea in seeing what he recognized. But when did you start feeling these fluxes with your powers?” Pinkamena questioned off one subject to start another here.

“Well after things settled, we talked & then after school, he was putting stuff in his bag. He said I could have some payback for him making me blush when he called me cute, but then.......I blanked out?” Ridley explained off in stating what she last recalled before things went blank after meeting the colt. “Next thing I knew I felt my lips were on Button Mash’s cheek and it was almost a…kissed? I Kissed him?” Having realized what Ridley did, she blushes and pants from having kissed a colt even if on the cheek, it was still a shocker. Now pulse waves were building up, making things shake a bit in response to the filly’s emotional reflection.

“Whoa, easy Ridley Melissa?” Pinkamena yelps while trying to calm the child down, as she nuzzles Ridley’s head lightly & the filly calms down lightly in the same response.

“Scans show that her emotions & feelings, are causing the fluxes in her powers?” Omega exclaimed from doing a scan to theorize what was going on during this matter.

“So what your saying Omega, is that her feelings are causing this?” Pinkamena looked to the bot in being curious about how such things are going off.

“I am positive that it is.” Omega nods his head in confirming the logical explanation for this.

“Is that bad, mommy?” Ridley asked off if what she was doing was bad?

“No Ridley Melissa ,it is not. At least we know your a living pony, & you have a heart like I had said before.” Pinkamena gently spoke this off in sweetly telling the child this.

“Are…you saying, I have feelings for Button Mash?” Ridley look up to the mare in wondering what her emotions & feelings mean from her action.

Pinkamena: well for what you told me, I think that's the case? I think you never experience love before?” Pinkamena stated off to question about the girl here not having known what love was.

“But, I love you mommy?” Ridley raise an eyebrow in thinking having love her mother was what it meant to love?

“Well there are two kinds of love? One is the love of a mother, or father, or anyone in the family? The other is love for someone you wanna be with. But do not worry, I will do all in my powers to help you be able to control these new emotions you have. So you can be able to have this ‘play date’ with Button Mash?” Pinkamena explained off the two different notions of love while offering to help Ridley figure out her emotional dilemma.

“Really? Thank you, mommy!” Ridley smiles with joy, as she hugs Pinkamena while the mare smiles & hugs back in response.

“And I have my friends to help me out, so you should have no worries for anything that could go wrong.” Pinkamena issued off to say this about having nothing to worry about.

The filly smiles at this claim, today was really a surprising day for her. Maybe by the next day, things will be even more interesting in what Ridley shall experience.

Meanwhile, somewhere far from Ponyville, there was a strange dark base located in an unknown area that we can’t make out. But we see inside the base, were some radars & sensor type equipment of electronics. There were some Dark Mystics coming into the picture to approach someone on a chair who’s back was turn & was left to not be seen by those that entered..

“Commander, we were able to locate the target?” A Dark Worker responded to the one working by the chair of equipment in stating something.

“You certain it is?” The mysterious being behind the chair responded in having awaited for such news

“Yes it is!” Dark Worker nodded off in stating this fact to the one here.

The pony on the chair gets up to walk down the area in which the Dark Mystics move aside to let the person through, as it was the Dark Commander. His injuries right hoof was magically healed up, after the encounter he experienced nearly two weeks ago.

“Heh-heh, by now, you have become friends with Ponyville?” The Dark Commander lets off a dark laugh in speaking off about someone who wasn’t within the room. “But now it is time to end that, let us see how Ponyville will handle a creature from the very continent; Hemisphere?” He declared forth in about to unleash on Ponyville, a beast that is from a new continent that is filled with dangerous things unknown to all of Equestria.

“Um, what if the creature does not do what we say? They only respond to the most dominate of species, & there is no other then Grimmore, the War-God, in which they bow to?” A Dark Worker nervously spoke out in caution & concern, for the creature they have will not listen to them; all the new wild life born from Hemisphere live by a natural instinct, bow & obey the one that dominates over the rest; & Grimmore is their creator to which if he or his strong warriors show up, the creatures obey them.

"Asking for the War-God to assist us Dark Troopers wouldn’t cut it unless I was ranked a Demon General. Besides, I have already planed for something else to be used.” The Dark Commander responded off that they will do things differently, instead of asking for Grimmore to aid them, he has a plan method that will work out just as nice.

The Dark Commander laughs darkly, as lights were flickering with the shadow image of a massive creature is seen. The massive creature lets out a roar, as it shakes the place while causing any minor Dark Mystic employees to scatter away from a dangerous creature. Looks like things are going to get very rough very soon, as the entire scene goes dark here…

Well this chapter has some surprises & shocking moments. In the next chapter, things get much more surprising when the CMC & Nyx tell their family members & the Main Six about what went down. Button Mash comes to see Ridley & is surprised in who’s with her, then things seem to go smooth…Until a giant creature is attacking Ponyville? How will the ponies deal with a creature from the continent; Hemisphere, what will Ridley do & what outcomes will be seen? Tune in to find out….
