Zap 'The Living-Lightning Bolt'

This here’s a new OC Pony I just made right out of the bloom; Zap. The name seems simple, I know, but what better to describe a guy that has a theme going on for lightning. He’s mostly an inspired idea from remembering Elecman.EXE, then a bit around Sparkman, and also a bit from Berzerker from Marvel, but more around the former. And as many can possibly see it, he’s gonna be an element he’ll represent shockingly well: The Element Of Lightning. His basic appearance is almost well suited to one who will carry a charge. And one can look forward to when he makes an appearance in JusSonic’s MLP: FIM Fanmake story series. Name: Zap ‘The Living-Lightning Bolt’

Voice Actor: Patrick Seitz (Think DUB version of Laxus Dreyar)

Appearance: A unicorn stallion with cyanish gray color fur coat, he has a flat, but point edge mark mane & a short tail with edges that are both light & dark yellow mix, and he has red eyes. The only things he appears to wear are some kinda bronze yellow hoof shoes & a cyanish band around the upper leg region. The part about him that strikes as interest is that he has bright emerald-yellow bolt marks all over his body which seem to represent lightning. And on his flank, his Cutie Mark appears to look like a symbol of a gray circle with an inner black center, as what is seen looks like a white shaped hook lightning bolt.

Personality: His personality is mostly being more a cool, confident, pretty laid-back kinda guy, and when on a task job, he can be serious. He’s pretty much well-assured in himself when he fights since not many opponents can beat him with his shocking personality. He can be pretty daring to go off to fight against an opponent, even risk putting his life in danger to pull off a win. He basically is one were he looks around at danger where it’s not really threatening to him, and if any foe gets on his bad side, they’ll get a SHOCK to their system to leave them paralyzed.

SKILLS: While before hand, he is still a unicorn that can perform feats of magic, and is very much in good physical condition; some say he’s always charged. As a user of the Element of Lightning, he creates that of lightning. After having a great mastery of handling this power, he can produce, control & manipulate lightning & electricity at his will. Through its use, Zap can not only generate lightning from his body, but also make it appear from almost anywhere to strike his opponents, taking them by surprise. Be generating electricity on different parts of his body, he’s capable of making his attacks in melee deadlier, and of propelling himself around to gain extra momentum. The bright light from his lightning can be also used to momentarily blind enemies. He can turn his own body into lightning, in order to evade enemy attacks, more around at high speed & strike every opponent crossing his path. Note: While it maybe unsure, there may exist another similar element to this known as Thunder, which might have similar properties.

-Electricity Manipulation: The ability to manipulate electricity. As a user, he can create, shape & manipulate electricity, a form of energy resulting from the existence of charged particles (such as electrons or protons) which give him control over electric fields, electric charges, electric currents, electronics, and electromagnetism. He can create/generate/increase, absorb, conduct, shape & manipulate electricity of various intensities. Charge objects with electricity, heat them and/or making them conduct electricity. Limitations may become useless if confronted electrical resistant material such as rubber or silicate. He may short circuit if hit with water.

*Electricity Absorption: The power to absorb electrical energy. As a user, he can absorb electricity & utilize it in some way, such as enhancing his speed, converting the electrical energy into some other form of energy, using it to regenerate himself, or as electrical ammo for his powers. Applications shoe absorb lightning strikes.

-Super Charge: The ability to amplify one’s self electrical output and strength through intense emotions. As a user, this ability can increase the power of his electrical magical energy by becoming extreme angry, thereby releasing currents of electricity through the body and increasing his strength. The process is similar to Fight or Fight Response. This intense state of emotion may even change he’s appearance.

-Electricity Generation: The ability to generate electricity. As a user, he is able to generate/produce electricity.

-Shocking: The power to shock with deadly current. As a user, he can release extreme current to destroy almost anything, causing extreme amounts of heat & paralysis in living beings.

-Electric Aura: The ability to surround oneself in electricity. As a user, he can surround himself in electricity to possibly become an electromagnetic force, repelling and attracting things. Touching him would cause a deadly electrocution.

-Electric Touch: The power to electrify people or ponies and objects with a touch. As a user, he is capable of electrifying creatures and objects with a mere touch of the hoof. Depending on him, the electrical current can either simply stun the victim or kill them outright.

-Electricity Mimicry: The power to transform into or have a physical body made up of pure electrical energy. As a user, he can be made up of or can transform his body completely into electricity. His transformed form can be either anatomically identical to his normal form, aside of being made of electricity, in which case it contains all to organs and is somewhat vulnerable to attacks. Alternately he can transform into homogenous matter, without any part of his form being more important than the other. Limitations might be Electromagnetic pulse bombs may hurt or even kill him by distorting electrons.

-Electrokinetic Combat: The power to fuse electricity & physical combat. As a user, he is able to utilize electricity manipulation with physical combat, granting him impressive offensive capabilities, while sometimes leaving his defensive abilities somewhat lacking.

-Electrical Transportation: The power to travel through electrical conduits/lightning & the users own powers of electricity. As a user, he can transport himself by electricity, by lightning or electronics. This is achieved by either riding the flow of electrons or becoming electricity itself for travel. For as long as he is strong enough & skilled in this art of transportation, he can also transport by the electrons in the air & other electrical components also. He can make lightning strike himself to transport his own molecules from one point to another. Applications show travel through conduits of electricity such as electrons, travel through technology phone lines, power lines, sockets, wire lines from computer’s, TV, phones. Travel through by scattering molecules through lightning strike, travel by Teleportation scattering electrons & rebuilding them at any given location, travel through clouds, even ride on bolts or platforms of electricity to increase mobility.

-Electrical Healing: The ability to heal using electricity. As a user of this ability, he can use electricity to heal himself or others by absorbing the electrons & using them to stimulate molecules, renewing damaged cells. Electricity can also provide energy to reduce fatigue, allowing optimal health, as well as restarting the heart & repair any brain damage.

-Electrical Enhanced Condition: The ability to use electricity to enhance physical & mental attributes. As a user of this ability, he is able to enhance his physical (strength) & mental (reflexes) using electricity to stimulate the nerves. He would be able to jump extraordinary distances due to the increase in strength, or react faster due to the mental amplification.

-Electrokinetic Flight: The power to fly using electricity. As a user, he can manipulate an electromagnetic repulsion field, concentrate reactive electrical jet, static electricity, or some other way of utilizing electricity to fly.

-Static Electricity Manipulation: The ability to manipulate static electricity. He’s able to manipulate static electricity.

-Electric Pull: The ability to create & manipulate a clinging electric arc. As a user, he can create a tether-like electric arc that clings to objects through magnetic or electrostatic attraction & can be used to hoist one’s self to destinations, or pull objects towards the user.

-Electrical Wall Crawling: The ability to scale walls using electricity. As a user of this ability, he can crawl, walk, run up walls using static electricity. For the science explanation: in electricity, charges produce electromagnetic fields which act on other charges, the electrical currents generate magnetic fields, and changing magnetic fields generate electrical currents, and lastly are moving charges additionally produce a magnetic field.

-Electroreception: Power to perceive electrical stimuli. As a user, he can use electroreception to locate objects around him. This is important in places where one cannot depend on vision: for example in caves, in murky water & at night. Predators who have this sense use electric fields to detect buried prey. This sense can be passive or active: PASSIVE: In passive electrolocation, one senses the weak bioelectric fields generated by living beings and uses it to locate them. These electric fields are generated by everything living due to the activity of their nerves & muscles. ACTIVE: In active electrolocation, one senses their surrounding environment by generating electric fields & detecting distortions in these fields using electroreceptor organs. This allows one to detect non-living objects as well as living beings.

-Electricity Solidification: The power to solidify electricity into a solid form. As a user, he can manipulate electrons to solidify the electricity, with the level of solidity going from loose jello to metal-like hardness or beyond.

-Electric Force Field: The ability to create an electrical force-field. As a user of this ability, he can create fore fields of highly concentrated electrical energy or force-fields composed of electromagnetic energy for protection, travel, and/or offensive use.

-Electrical Immunity: As a user, his body is unharmed & immune to electricity, this also allows him to overpower the intangibility of Electricity Mimicry users of such spell works. Variations show absorb electricity harmlessly, and even convert it into beneficial energy.

-Electric Blade Construction: The ability to create bladed weapons out of electric elements. As a user, he can construct bladed weapons of various shapes & sizes from his electric element. The electric element that the blade is made of, possess abilities of that nature and be very effective in both offensive & defensive combat.

-Electricity Infusion: The ability to infuse any object with electricity. As a user, he can infuse any object with electricity by channeling electricity through the weapon/object making shockingly devastating attacks & electrify anything around him. Some users infuse their object with lightning for quick & deadly attacks.

-Electric Breath: The power to issue forth electricity from one’s mouth. As auger, he can breathe out electricity from his mouth. It can be a straight beam of electricity, or a ball of it. Once it hits the target, it can also jump towards any other near them, creating a chain of electricity. Limitations show that magic users of Electricity Absorption, Invulnerability, Electrical Resistance & Electric Conductivity are immune to the electricity breathed by him.

-Electric Conductivity: The ability to be electrically conductive. As a user with this ability, he can conduct all forms of electricity through his body, created or not making him totally invulnerable to electricity, no matter the voltage. He can also discharge electricity through conductive media (metal, water, etc.)

-Lightning Induced Powers: The circumstance of gaining powers, skills and enhancements via bolts of lightning. This circumstances grants him supernatural abilities by being in contact with lightning bolts. The effects of the lightning may grant Electrical Base Powers, Weather Powers or any powers to the being if they survive, which if they are suers of the power, they can.  Applications show that he does possess electrical-based powers from the residue of the lightning stored within his cells, and may grant power over the weather. The lightning strike may cause maximum enhancements of a normal being.

-Lightning Ball Form: Power to transform into or have a physical body made up of ball lightning. As a user, he can be made up of or can transform his body completely into the form of spherical electricity, a ball lightning. His transformed form is of complete homogenous state, without any part of his form being more important than the other. He is completely formed of electricity, without anything truly left from his physical form.

-Lightning Bolt Direction: The power to create, summon, control, and/or project lightning bolts. As a user, he can summon lightning bolts from the sky or project them from his hooves, using them to blind, stun, and/or severely burn his opponents even to the point of death. His lightning bolt attacks could be strong enough to affect even greater beings of strength & durability. He can range, from minor to fatal voltage. Unlike normal bolts of lightning, he could use them as concussive or even perching forces.

-Lightning Calling: Power to call/summon lightning. As a user, he has the power to send lightning from the sky that could be used to blind, stun, and/or severely burn his opponents even to the point of death he can range, from minor to fatal voltage.

-Lightning Ball Projection: The power to create & launch spheres of lightning. As a user, he can generate, create compressed balls of electrical magic energy that are held together by his own gravity or be means of a magnetic field that collapses on impact. Variations show two waves of such works. Dispersive Ball: Lightning balls that spreads an electric current on impact with little kinetic energy. Explosive Ball: Lightning balls that release explosive kinetic energy on impact.

Techniques: After gaining the power of being the Element of Lightning, Zap’s magic abilities in using the strong, wild surges of lightning that he can manipulate. The more electric energy he can produce, the stronger his attacks can be, and that goes for absorbing more electric energy from another source to increase his own power.

-Thunderbolt: Holds out his hoof to fire a thunderbolt down at his target.

-Electric Blade: He forms an Elec Sword from his right or left, or both hooves and dashes towards the opponent before executing the attack. Paralyzes them if a hit is landed.

-Flaothooves: He can float anytime he wants and can ignore the effects of harmful traps layer out on the ground. It’s also with this ability that he can move quickly off the ground to dodge attacks like he vanishes in blurs, like he’s quick as lightning before striking.

-Electric Blaze: Holds up his hooves together to concentrate to fire off a ball of magical electricity. The effect is very shocking and destructive around properties.

-Direct Current: He uses his hoof to stun & damage the target. And will use this every time an enemy hits him, to slowly deal damage while awaiting for a stun paralyze effect to kick in.

-Lightning Blaze: Summons storm clouds to strike down lightning.

-Lightning Punch: He creates an orb of lightning around his hooves & punches his target, thereby increasing the resulting damage.

Advance Techniques: These are techniques where the power of lightning is far stronger. (Note: Think of Laxus Dreyar from Fairy Tail, the guy was practically a massive powerhouse, so the moves below are the SERIOUS deals.)

-Raging Bolt: He raises his clenched hooves in the air & chants an incantation spell; a large bolt of lightning will then descend upon the target from the air, possibly completely vaporizing them with a strong blast of lightning. Incantation: Resounding through the air, the roar of thunder, plunge from the heavens, and reap destruction! RAGING BOLT!

-Lightning Body: He covers his body in lightning, greatly increasing his speed, and, effectively, turning him into an actual lightning bolt, thereby granting him great flexibility & maneuverability.

-Lightning Eruption: He summons a lightning bolt from the ground, hitting the target from underneath, throwing them into the air, before subsequently causing an explosion.

-Lightning Flash: A spell in which he creates a large, blinding, flash using electricity within his body, which can act as a distraction, due to the victims momentary blindness; allowing him to escape undisturbed. To perform this spell, he raises one of his front hooves, with it face up, but bent, forward in the target’s direction in a hoof claw-like manner.

-Thunder Bullets: He generates lightning around his fist, from which many small, yet destructive lightning orbs are fired at a high speed.

-Lightning Storm: He creates a sphere of lightning between his hooves, sending dangerous lightning bolts in every direction.

-Lightning Explosion: He gathers a large quantity of lightning in his hoof and then punches the ground, engulfing the target in a torrent of lightning & destroying much of the surrounding ground in the process.

Strongest Technique Moves: Since lighting is all about power, what’s below here are the true powerful moves that in all doubts of wanting victory, these can even take on very tough opponents & foes. Even to compete with Mystics & Dark Mystics of high warrior rank or being the strongest of the group under their leaders.

-Lightning Dragon Roar: He gathers lightning in his mouth & releases it in the form of a concentrated, destructive blast, capable of destroying everything in a wide area in front of them. A side-effect of being hit by this attack is, if the target survives, the lightning paralyzes them, preventing them from escaping his next attack. By moving his head around as he cast it, he can also employ this spell in an arched trajectory, enabling him to hit enemies that may not be in his direct path. Note: The name of the attack is almost similar and delivers great power like a dragon’s breath, hence how it got the name ‘dragon roar’ in there.

-Lightning Spear: Raise his hooves & forms lightning between them, forming a very large spear out of it. They he hurls such spear at the target, and if the target is weak enough, this attack could kill.

-Lightning Break-Fist: He punches the air, releasing a giant, high=speed lightning blast in the shape of a fist, which, upon contact with the target, generates a massive, sparking explosion.

-Lightning Dragon Jaw: He locks his hooves together in a tight merge hoof-fist and swings them down onto the target, both smashing them into the ground & creating a destructive circular wave.

Secret Technique: Roaring Thunder: He rushes at the target & releases a large burst of lightning from his fist, heavily damaging & electrocuting the target, whilst also pushing them away with immense force. This here’s a secret technique, which makes it an ever powerful move that will be hard for any opponent to withstand, even a mighty warrior or those that are clearly the strongest fighter would have a hard time handling that (but not unless it was a god, that would make things even harder to take down an opponent with one go, it could take a few dozen times or so?).

Transformation:

*Lightning Mode - Ixion: Resembling a unicorn, with a long, golden lightning-bolt horn & dark green fur & yellow-gray mane & tail. There are also gold lightning mark bracers on the front legs. It was like looking at a majectic beast of Lightning with it’s own lightning patterns on the furry body, plus creating wings of pure electricity…truly a stunning show. Abilities: From acquiring this sudden transformation, Zap's very element reaches an even higher rank of Lightning to wield even the majestic forces of thunder & lightning together. Now his lightning powers can even unleash a brutal force that will effect stronger opponents. He can charge electrical energy on the tip of the horn & fires it towards the target to lift them. Then he'll unleash a blast of lightning sent to the enemy in mid-air, causing lightning damage before dropping the enemy down; extra hard with damage count. Info: Zap gain this newfound power from absorbing the Thunder elements of another world's Cosmos type Elements that awaken a new power. (Noted: It's appearance is base on an existing character known as Ixion, a Summon Lightning Aeon from Final Fantasy 10.)

Bio: A long time ago, he was in the middle of a terrible storm where there was fierce lightning storm happening at the moment. He was caught in it during one night in Ponyville during the time he was a colt, and during the moment when a bolt of lightning struck him, a bright flash happened that he vanished without a trace. Then during another storm event, the same scenery played out, as a lightning bolt struck the Sparkle home’s library, and there appeared a fully grown up Zap who had changed. Twilight’s curiosity made her wanna learn about the stallion’s disappearance to which he was said to have been a friend to Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie & Rarity. It’s learn that the lightning bolt that struck him was out of a million chance to be the one that held the Element Of Lightning, a wild power that was within a fierce storm that went around, while it may have cause troubles, it was seeking a wielder, and Zap was it. So in the long years, Zap was spending most of his life in the clouds as a living bolt of electricity, it intensify his mind & body to be at the point where he learn all there is about controlling the power of lightning, but even though lightning can travel fast, the learning process felt slow. And soon Zap tries to re-live his life, much ponies that were his friends & family are very happy that he’s return, but the body of electricity has some issue of maintaining control, which he learns to handle or risk shocking some ponies. After much time, Zap becomes a resident in Ponyville to take over his family business of which they provide power & electricity to some Watch Towers station in the Everfree Forest to watch out for monsters. Zap may feel that from his appearance, and his personalty that seems to give folks a strange shocking opinion, Twilight’s group can consider him a nice ally to have around. One question was asked about the stallion's element, did it have control of both Lightning & Thunder, but Zap responded that he's not sure, it feels like it's only one theme: Leaving the question that the Element of Thunder might be a related element to Lightning, but as to who wields the Thunder is left for another day.
